Creating Mac Applications for 3 Decades

Hi!  I'm Mark and yes I've been developing for the Macintosh for three different decades.  I was lucky and started my programming career for the Macintosh shortly after college.  My introduction developing for the Macintosh was on the Lisa which was the development computer for the Macintosh.  I've attended many WWDC conferences and was lucky enough to see Steve Jobs speak at two different conferneces.  He and Guy Kawasaki were both incredible speakers that made me fall in love with Apple products.

I've worked for large and small corporations.  The largest was Siemens Medical Systems where we developed a Nuclear Medicine Imaging application for the Macintosh.  I've spent time working for them in Germany doing technical sales support throughout Europe.

For the past decade I took my engineering skills and applied them to a different career.  I started and ran a company that built high end millwork for the health care industry and luxury homes.  I'm very proud of the work we did at YEGURBAN STUDIO www.yegurbanstudio.com.

Now I'm starting a new journey to use all my past experiences and bring them back to the software industry.  I've always loved Apple products and look forward to writing apps and applications for their products. I'm in the process of adapting from C++ to Swift via online courses.  This website blog is my documentation of this new journey.
